Why do we go? Because you don't know if ya don't go.

Could be an expensive expenditure of time in the great outdoors or it could be the most bountiful hunt or fish of our lives.

Where did yall fish? I ran to pickets out of Dularge, was like a walmart parking lot out there and no one was doing much. Had another buddy that fished mardi gras and 58 and didn't do much either.

Couldn't say it better myself. This statement is why I wouldn't have it any other way!

This is my problem with deep sea fishing. I can't afford to go full bore so I can't get into it. I'm all I'n when it comes to ducks and deer which leaves little funding for a yacht.

Nothing more satisfying than sitting down over a meal of game/fish you killed/caught with sides out of the garden you grew and a cold beer.

You must not fish much then

Its really gotten bad, can't go anywhere around cocodrie, GI, dularge, etc. without dealing with the crowds.

Unless you can get away during the week!

this. i spend a LOT of time & energy finding places that no one else goes to so i can avoid the crowds. i'd rather catch/shoot nothing in the middle of nowhere than fight people for a handful of fish.

of course, if the fishing/hunting is like gangbusters, idgaf who is there or how trashy the area is. i'm in.
