I guess they should name it the Exodus so it can be the sequel to their last successful console.

Since the image surfaced, some sites have speculated that the logo is for a new Sega console, which seems highly unlikely at this point in time. Instead, it could be a new digital service or method of pushing out arcade content in Japan, similar to the company’s Ringwide technology that came into affect a few years ago.

I would still play it if the disc didn't stop spinning.

The Sega fanboy in me, who went dormant long ago with the passing of the Dreamcast (3/30/2001), wants to believe this is true.
The realist says there's no way, but it's fun to think about a console war that still includes Sega in any meaningful discussion.
I still have my Dreamcast, though it's boxed up at the moment. The soul...still...burns.

Yes! Loved this game.
FYI - I know you said you are pretty much a retro gamer but if you want to see Sega at the best they've been in a while, check out Valkyria Chronicles for the PS3. Once you get into it, it's a fun tactical roleplaying game and even has Vyse, Aika, and Fina from of SoA in it (though, they are minor characters).

.005% chance it is.
More than likely a distribution service or something like that.
