Grand Isle Geauxpass Help up date 6/8

Guys, I really got one for y'all. I been getting a collection notice for a trip from 9/25/2011. Got another one in the mail again yesterday for $50.
Well, this is the kicker. I sold that boat/trailer on 9/23/2011. Just not even two months ago, the dude that bought the package, never put the trailer in his name. Of course he lost the paperwork, but I had a copy of the bill of sale with his name and amount/date. And yes, I had it stamped.
So, as good as I am, I went out my way and got a new title and went thru all the paperwork for him. He told me he was just selling the trailer to a friend of his. OK.
Well, I called this dude about the ticket, with no return call back from him. I could fight this by sending in a copy of the bill of sale, but I don't know if that would fix my problem.
So, beware of selling something like this.

Post all his info here. Does he have daughters over 18?

If that doesn't work, re-post on the OT.

if you have bill of sale that proves trailer wasnt yours than you will be fine. Send them copy of bill of sale and letter explaining and it should hopefuly resolve it.
FYI, make sure to ALWAYS take your license plate off of anything you sell!

If you fight with Geaux pass enough and have sufficient proof they will work with you.
Its a fricking money racket and they know it.
Cross that bridge often, many people have issues like this. Its rather funny.

Or just call them. They are under new management and sending notices to everybody that crossed that ridiculous fricking bridge over the last three years.

The ticket doesn't have a phone number on it. Will google it.

AssHats
This has been a huge cluster and I encourage all of you that have had issues to call. The new company that apparently took over revenue and collections fired the shotgun trying to collect all they can.

Well, I just got off the phone with them. First woman I talked to said I have to pay it. WTF? It took over 20 mins waiting to hear that crap. She told me that I need to go to the DMV. WTF does that have to do with this shite.
Told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor! Another 20 mins wait. Told the story to a guy this time along with what the last lady said. He was like WTF?
Now, I'm waiting for someone from the review board to call me.

I didn't say it would be easy.
ETA: If I had a special secret number to call and answer to share I would share it with you hicks.
In the meantime I utilize the speaker phone.

Well, I got a call back from them today. The young lady, Robyn was nice as can be. She had asked me to send a copy of the bill a sale. Picture was good enough.

Side comment: I get to GI frequently and would find the trainwreck of toll systems to be comical, if it were not for the wasted money. I do shake my head each time I go through the 90 degree turns and see new damage to the barriers. How many thousands of dollars in car and truck damage has been caused by that marvel of engineering?

Got a email this morning that everything has been dropped.
And yes, what the hell they were thinking putting that 90 in.

They are supposed to finish the bridge all the way to the 4 lane. The entire goal of the project was to keep the roadway open during high water events.
The 90 will be an exit to leeville when the full project is built.
They only had funding to build what they did, and it's not exactly a easy sell at the federal level to build the remainder.
The environmental groups requiring the end on construction method jacked the cost way up.
