The Best That Never Was is one of my favorite documentaries of all time. And I love me some documentaries. Without Bias is probably my next favorite. Pony Express coming in at third. Only one I didn't care for is Run Ricky Run. Ricky Williams is one of the more intriguing athletes of all time, but that doc just put me to sleep.

Edit: Forgot about You Don't Know Bo. Bo is possibly my favorite athlete of all time. YDKB is basically just an hour long highlight reel showing that he is probably the most physically gifted athlete of all time.

I kind of had the same observation with Elway to Marino... not that it was bad, I enjoyed it.

But the tone of Marvin Demoff's voice was exhausting. Kind of had that Bob Ross effect on me. You know? The guy that did all those painting shows on PBS.

Pony Excess, Reggie Miller, and The Two Escobars are the best.

Gretzky one was very good too and I don't even like hockey

The one about OJ is my favorite, it's different than a normal 30 for 30 because there is no narrator or interviews, just audio clips from that day. They play all the different clips to make it seem like it's happening in real time.

Hearing that phone call while OJ was in the car was unreal. It makes it even more mind boggling that he was ruled innocent

Entertaining:
The U
Pony Excess
Ghosts of Ole Miss - if for nothing else than Wright Thompson's narration.
Jordan Rides the Bus

Sad:
2 Escobars
Best that never was
You don't know Bo (kinda)
Survive and Advance - have some tissues handy.

I don't know. Marcus seems to be doing alright. He's not rich, and he never lived up to his athletic potential for reasons both within and beyond his control, but he's at peace with himself. There's a lot to be said for that.

There's a bunch of really good ones, but I think those are the best.
