Her hate for slavery is first noticed when she saw the Dothraki raping all of the women after some battle in Season 1. She made the Dothraki them which led to that dude fighting Khal Drogo and getting his tongue ripped out. It also led to Drogo getting his paper cut infected and the witch doctor/slave "fixing" him and then subsequently getting tied to the pyre that Drogo was burning on. A lot has come form Dany disliking slavery lol.

Why the frick do all these guys continue to fight for her if she says they are free to go?? Yea she's good to look at but that's about it

I think she has hated slavery all along. She was basically a slave herself. A very well off house slave sure, but still a slave to her POS brother. He even told her straight up he'd let the entire Dothraki army rape her if it meant he could be king.
Instead Viserys just sold her off to a tribal war lord who was nice enough to bend her over while she was crying and scared out of her mind. As he does this he repeats "no" over and over b/c its the only bit of her language he has bothered to learn.

Well...it seems to be working for her.
Plus...its not like she has a lot of gold to pay people to fight for her...she has to make them want to fight for her.

She's fairly charismatic too. And there's these things called dragons that might sway a person or two. As others have said though, it makes sense that they would knowing she's freed them.

Early in the marriage it did seem she was being torchered but she grew to love him, maybe she loved the power too.
