He wouldn't throw more unless they were both three pitch innings.

Never know, head to head sec champion. 1 vs 2. Maybe.

If a national title and season is on the line, any of your top pitchers who feels up to it, can pitch. We have done it before.

I understand your rantard meeter is super sensitive after some of these threads/posts the past few days, so you're a little quick to jump on every comment hoping to prove you have the most baseball knowledge here. It's a relevant point. I explained myself again. DWI.

You do not want LSU and Vanderbilt to be 2/3 seed. I think that would put them in the same side of the bracket.

I think he's the only one that didn't get the point

Exactly. You'd swear some of these posters just started watching LSU baseball this year. If tomorrow was the national title game, Nola would be available for more than an inning or two. I wouldn't expect him to start, but he could throw 3-4 innings.

If LSU wins and doesn't get the #1 seed considering how close our records and rankings are it would be somewhat of an affirmation that the SEC tourney doesn't mean much.

In the grand scheme it doesn't matter for either team.

they won the SEC by 3.5 games, that is no small margin, plus the RPI factor

on the other hand, if we do get the 1 seed, THAT would speak volumes

Hell yea we will be 1 seed! We are currently #2 and would be SEC Tournament Champs with a victory over #1 Vandy = easy decision. Vandy would get 2 seed.

Do you think Alex Edward will play? Or Casey Yocum? Pitchers will be depleted but the starting lineups won't be any different tomorrow.

After the first month how often did the normal weekend position players not start a midweek game.

As long as were not on the same side of the bracket the national seeds don't mean squat. Especially considering they don't seed 9-16, and don't re-seed after the regionals. Tomorrow is for fun, next week it's time to take care of business.

We are not getting the 1 seed win or lose tomorrow. Vandy got that wrapped up.

Meh. Doesn't matter who is number one at the start of the tournament.

funny how so many ranters are acting like the SEC Tournament Championship Game means nothing. I realize that we're positioning ourselves lineup wise for greater results in the NCAA Tournament, but still the SEC Tournament Championship is a nice title to have... just sayin'

Platoon pitching with some usual starters sitting out of the lineup. Of course, both teams are trying to win. But with so little to gain for either team, they're setting themselves up for the next weekend.

Those starters are out because of injuries.

As for the pitching - this is how tournaments work. We lost a game and so did Vandy. These things happen in the CWS as well.

Yes. I think the winner will get the top seed.
