Val Kilmer, Nick Cage, or Brendan Fraser whose fallen further?

Seems all 3 went from being lead makes in movies to secondary actors or leading man for a straight to DVD release. They've all been in huge movies (Batman, National Treasure, The Mummy) so what would restart the careers of these men if anything?

Ehh, Fraser was never quite on the level of Kilmer or Cage. So his descent wouldn't have been as steep. I say Kilmer, only because Cage still seems to churn out a watchable movie every now and again, you just have sort through miasma that is his script selection.

Easily Nic Cage because of his stream of shite movies and personal issues.
He won an Oscar and almost won another.
The guy is a great actor unlike the other 2 but has made some shitty decisions both professionally and personally. His performance in Adaptation is one of my favorite acting roles ever.
To restart he needs to start by getting back to that genre (Adaptation, Matchstick men) and stop doing shitty movies like Bangkok Dangerous.
The National Treasure movies (although ridiculously far fetched) are decent popcorn flicks that he can bank some money on with the 3rd installment coming out and maybe move on to some decent fare. The Ghost Rider movies could have been decent but the script was god awful.
His movies coming out 2013 and beyond.
National Treasure 3 (announced)
Ben Gates (rumored)
2014 Left Behind (pre-production)
Ray Steele
2014 Tokarev (pre-production)
Paul Maguire
???? Frank or Francis (pre-production)
???? Outcast (pre-production)
2013 Joe (post-production)
Joe Ransom
2013 The Frozen Ground (completed)
Jack Halcombe
2013 The Croods (animated)
Grug (voice)
Movies like Tokarev and Left Behind look like movies he should avoid.

Cage must be the busiest actor around. Wonder if he ever turns down a role.

Uh no. That is part of his problem.
Nic Cage Agent

I've loved Brendan Fraser in almost everything he's been in and he is great at comedy or drama roles. i don't nderstand why we don't see more of him.

Kilmer is the most stupifying. It's like it was his decision to disappear. Cage is the most embarrassing. Fraser was never a massive star like the other two.

None of these. It's gotta be Cuba Gooding Junior. He does direct to DVD now. At least the others have some theatrical releases.

I'd call Cage a talented actor.

He got a reputation for being difficult/demanding/undirectable/impossible to work with (director John Frankenheimer after Kilmer completed his work on Dr. Moreau: "OK, that was his last shot. Now get that son of a bitch off my set!")
He was never a big BO draw, so studios decided he just wasn't worth the aggravation

Kilmer's lack of big roles almost seems intentional. It's like he said ,"frick it. I'm going to be old and fat now."

Fraser made too many kids movies like George of the Jungle, Dudley Doright, Monkeybone, Looney Tunes in a short time.

But outside of Jerry Macguire I can't think of a blockbuster he was a star in. Unless we count Radio?

How about Christian Slater.

Kevin Costner stole his soul when she shot that arrow through this hand.
And I'd say Nick Cage. He had the most potential IMO to have sustained success if he wasn't too coked up to figure out the roles he's best suited for.

Men of Honor and Outbreak are some others

Ah him and Kevin Bacon but I don't think they are on the level of the 3 in OP. they never had that HIT movie it seems.
Bacons biggest movie is Animal House, Footloose, and Tremors seems everything else he was a secondary actor and not top billed or was a flop
Slater Heathers, True Romance, Broken Arrow, and Interview with Vampire and outside of Heathers I dunno if he has been a top billed actor.
