What is the best one to start with? Have never listened to them before. Heard they are amazing.

My favorite is Feels. I'm sure a lot of people will have a different opinion. But Feels, Sung Tongs, MPP, and Strawberry Jam are my favorites, in that order.

Strawberry Jam is my favorite, but MPP may be the best one to start with.

Feels is probably my second favorite, with The Purple Bottle being my favorite track by them.

MPP

Some hipster doofus will probably say it is "too mainstream" but it is definitely their most consistent album

Their later stuff is much more easy to get into. Start with MPP or strawberry jam. Centipede hz is also great.

My favorite is MPP. Its one of my favorite albums ever. Kind of changed the way I listen to music. Second would be Strawberry Jam. Its a great album too.

Then it probably goes Feels, then Sung Tongs.

I saw this thread and decided to listen to this band. Had previously only heard one song, it was on this album so I went for it.

No thanks to this band, at all.

They certainly aren't for everyone. If you felt that way about MPP, I can't even imagine what you would think of Sung Tongs.

I used to hate AC. I just didnt understand it at all.

Then, after a day of drinking on the beach, and grav bong to the face, went out on the balcony over looking the beach and put on MPP. That's when I "got" it. CSB.

but seriously, now its one of my all-time favorites. That taught me to be more open-minded towards music, which has been great for me.

Strawberry Jam was the one that got me into them, MPP is probably their most consistent and best album though.

Feels and Sung Tongs have a lot of good songs on them but aren't quite as consistent as SJ and MPP.

I never really liked anything they did before Sung Tongs and I tried pretty hard to like Centipede Hz but it really never clicked with that album.

Bump.

Strawberry Jam is great, with my fav on that album being Winter Wonderland

MPP is hands down best album though. The two intro songs play so nicely.

:kige:

Most of animal collectives music is terrible. It's like they are trying too hard to sound avant garde yet they fail miserably. Never seen them live though.
