There is more than that lacking. The messaging system is pretty cumbersome, the friends management is weird, etc. Just never cared for it and that's a huge reason I hardly play my PS3.
I also hope they fix the bluetooth chat or get rid of it for a proprietary system. It's horrible and not nearly as clear as say a VOIP like skype or even Xbox chat.

I would think the word lacking would cover that. But yeah it was definitely bad.
The Bluetooth was just as bad.
I'm assuming Sony is smart enough to address all of this. Especially with the 8GB of RAM.

I'm not saying it's perfect or without flaw, but but to say that the interface is a primary reason to not use it. I just find it funny.
Tough guy to please.
ETA: I'm old fashioned though. I would still take the original Blades 360 interface over what we have now in a heartbeat.

I mean what are talking about here? I will talk the offline XMB over the ever changing dashboard of the 360, except when it comes to integration with their respective online service.

I think there is too much content now for the blade layout. I like the tile look personally

I'm sure there is. I just have never use half the tabs. I use the game, community, apps, and settings tab. So, it would still fit in 4 blades that they originally had.

It is for me. I just don't like it. When I am on I am usually playing with someone. I am a multi player person mostly and like I said the PS3 interface just isn't as user friendly to party up, chat, message people, etc.
It has always been a deal breaker for me and I am being 100% serious here. No trolling.

They don't need to change it, they just need to make it smoother and quick.
Add a quick reply option like Android does for messaging.
Throw in voice chat across all games.
Keep the rest the same, everyone else likes it and it's won awards.

It's because you are getting defensive about some of what I said and again trying to corner me or something. Not sure why you try to do this lately.
You need to learn it's my opinion and it's OK not to agree with it. No need to get defensive about it.
