On airline, right next to the progressive place. Very close to Lucky Coin and Hurwitz Mintz.

Cool thats closer to work than the other location. Have to put it on the list with the other new places I've yet to try. It's probably the same as the other location, which is not bad. I'm sure they will scale back the menu.

I haven't seen anyone eating in that location in probably three years and i drive by at least twice a day.

I heard that "big lee" had the last two restaurants in there. Anyone who drives on Bonnabel knows who big lee is.

Looking forward to this change.

Lumber Products & Barto Appliances are across the street. Le Jouet is by the light that leads into the parking lot of Celebration Church & Hurwitz Mintz.

I used to pickup from Cafe Zizzi and it was pretty damn good. The location is good (especially for me as I take airline to Ridgewood to get home everyday) but nothing ever stays there. Having Orchid Express there will give me a great reason to "eat mor pho"

Big Lee is the LSU superfan guy with the house on Bonnabel with the Barbie cars in front right?

What restaurants does he own?

The LSU themed restaurant was owned by the guy who owns the alibi. Not sure about zizi.

I didn't think Big Lee was into owning restaurants.

Now old Metairie has 2 Viet places open in the last few months. The 5th one that I know of in the metro area to recently open.

Yeah, he is a big nimrod. Wouldn't surprise me at all to hear that he had a purple LSU restaurant that failed.

Big Lee did not own either of the last two restaurants at that location. And as far as pho orchid, my prediction is that they will struggle to make it there.

Pho Orchid
I know the owner tried pretty hard to get into the midcity development on Carrollton but they wanted an outrageous amount of money for rent.
