Songs from Serious Musicians That are Funny

Not talking about Stephen Lynch, Weird Al, Concords, Tenacious D.
These are typically not "joke" songs, but the lyrics make you laugh a little.
One that comes to mind for me is Alligator - Grateful Dead
It isn't the whole song really, just a few lyrics.
Funny to me at least

quote:
screamin and yellin and lickin his chops
he never runs he just stumbles and hops
just out of prison on six dollars bail
mumblin at bitches and waggin his tail
Funny to me at least

Govt Mule - greasy Granny's gopher gravy

i find a lot of steely dan's lyrics to be ironic and somewhat humorous.
edited to add an example
from "haitian divorce", which has many more...
babs and clean willie were in love they said.
so in love the preacher's face turned red.

I always thought ths was a Les Claypool song that he did with them on The Deepest End.
I may be wrong.

Emerson, Lake, and Palmer - Still You Turn Me On
I absolutely love this song, and the lyrics are fairly solid until you get to:
Dude takes dusty rafters way too seriously.

Every day a little sadder
A little madder
Someone get me a ladder

Devin Townsend Project - Deconstruction
One of the most amazing pieces of music ever written, with some of the most bizarre lyrics to boot. Dude is my hero.

"Every Little Counts" by New Order immediately comes to mind mainly because of the fact that Bernard Sumner loses his shite a couple of times cracking up at his own lyrics. The studio take of him laughing made it to final version of the album and it always makes me laugh when I hear the opening line.
