where were you at?
they don't do a good job of publicizing and promoting the venue itself

How much are drinks on the lawn?

The sports bar.
Nice girl, but seemed like an airhead.
eta: I was actually very surprised at how nice L'Auberge was. It would be cool if " the great lawn" turned out to be a legitimate outside venue.

It's basically just the grassy area on the side of the levee next to the casino. Security was nbd and they just didn't want glass on the lawn. You should be fine with a flask. My biggest problem were the people who put towels down to sit on. Then when it starts filling up, they got all mad that someone had to step on or around their towel to get through the crowd. Literally almost got in 2 altercations because of this. People are stupid.

Was this at MB20 by any chance? I noticed this as well, when we first got inside. There were towels waaaaaaaaaay too close to the stage. I remembered thinking how someone was going to be upset about people being in their "spot"...apparently I was spot on. Some people just don't have a clue.
As for security, I don't remember having anything done...weather was an issue though. That's the only time I've been there, so I'm sure it could vary.
The actual levee is pretty far from the stage, fwiw. Cool view though! And parking fills up, especially with it being on a weekend (and the weekend regulars are trying to get in). They literally ran out of parking at MB20. Eventually people were sent back out to the main entrance closer to Nicholson to park along there.

Yep. We got there fairly early and I made that same comment about the towels.
Security probably could vary, but the only thing they made us do was pour our beer into a cup since we had brought a bottle in.
For parking I recommend just doing valet. For the extra money, you don't have to worry about finding a spot or finding your car later. That's what we did. We also tried to pay our valet extra to drive us to the bar after, but he couldn't.

How fast was it getting your car afterwards?
They actually had a cop block off valet at one point as well the MB20 night. They literally ran out of parking EVERYWHERE, it was insane

Getting pretty stoked.
Haven't seen the crowes in a few years.

how was this concert? was it mostly their new CD? I am wanting to see them at the woodlands in July but am skeptical about their playlist.

I'm going. Gonna be wet as frick.
I was hoping it wouldn't be all, "Here's something from the new album" crap, but it looks like a decent set.
SETLIST
Prob going to be exactly the same.

They'll change it up a little. I never understand why casino shows get treated like festival shows. Why are they short set times as opposed to shows in "normal" venues? I still havent decided if im going tonight because of this fact.

I agree. Was hoping for a longer set. 15 songs seems a bit stingy.

I am pretty sure its because they can get away with it.
