So let it be known that I did in fact enjoy the first one, I probably have watched it ten or so times.
However, the second one is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

My interest in the third is strictly related to how it will be reviewed. I'm placing the plus/minus at 38 percent on RT. Whatcha got? I'm going to say minus.

I think this one gets it right, I am going to shoot high and say it nets a 63%.

I enjoyed the first one, but felt like they were just trying too hard in the second one. They seemed to push Galifinakis' character so hard into making witty comments. Some stuck, but more seemed to miss.

I also didn't like how they "discovered" where the missing guy was in either movie. It felt like they spend 2 hours carrying you through the plot, then wrapped it up in 5 mins with a stupid "Floories" reference, or a blackout during a Pac Man game.

I saw the first one in theatres, saw the second one using On Demand at home, and I will probably see this one, but wait for it to hit HBO.

I'm all kinds of meh on the hangover 3.

Anchorman 2 though I will be highly disappointed if it sucks. May start throwing old tube TVs through store fronts.

John Goodman is in this one so I'm interested in it.

He gives any movie instant cred.

I watched #2 last week and it wasn't that bad.

I didn't like the Asian kid story line and the fact that Ed Helms took a penis in the butthole. That just isn't something you bounce back from as readily as he did. In fact, I don't know any one who has come close to that unintentionally.

I think this one will be alright.

They learn their lesson from the 2nd shitfest and close the trilogy out well.

Phillips hasn’t really made a comedy here. That’s not because he’s written jokes that don’t land; it’s that a lot of the movie isn’t played for laughs. It’s less a buddy comedy than a convoluted heist movie with a surreal bent. This time The Wolf Pack is found by the people who sold Alan (Zach Galifianakis) drugs in Vegas, who have now been ripped off by Chow (Ken Jeong), whom they must find, along with his stolen gold, or Doug (Justin Bartha) will be shot.

That sounds terrible.

It really isn't that bad. It has some laughs. If it was a stand alone movie it wouldn't get so much shite, but since it followed the greatness of the first one with same plot line it does.

2 only gets hate because its just a repackaged version of the 1st one

Somewhere theres an alternate universe where Hangover 2 came out first and everyone trashes the original hangover for being rehashed garbage

That or mid-40s. No way it can be as bad as the second.
