Do you think the 5+ WR's we're looking to get in 2014 will be iffy about playin with a QB looking to run first? I think its bad enough we're hoping to get the #1 RB who will ofcourse get alot of carries.

So you got a superior running back, a running QB, and the thought of competing with so many other receivers..good for the team but how about the individual player??

If they really wanted to play for a championship they would come here.
But if they want to go into the NFL they go elsewhere even though LSU is WRU.

Pretty sure no WR recruit is thinking I wish we were recruiting a shittier RB.

Dual threat means the threat to run and pass. Not a running back playing QB. Denard was a RB at the QB position. RG3 was a dual threat.

You aren't understanding what the new wave of dual threat QBs are doing for recievers. With defenses having
To respect the option, it creates man free matchups for outside receivers and inside receivers and tight ends will often roam free.

It's a bonanza for receivers.

Pass first with the escapability to keep a play alive. Dual threat doesn't mean run first. Rodgers, elway and young are all considered dual threat.

I've given you stats from players who did this "passing thing" pretty good from the past 5 years. All with different mechanics, arm strengths, races, systems, athletic abilities, conference strengths, etc. There are waaay more than this but these are the names that I remember off the top of my head (had to go to the database to find the stats).

Most of these guys had top conference and top national rbs.
