Might be the first.....and last time I try this. Have done it with shrimp, cabbage, pineapple mango salsa with corn tortillas in the past. We will see if fish will be good as well. Only problem is i have nothingto put in it other than cabbage and fish. Any suggestions?

Absolutely corn tortillas, and I like my fish blackened when making fish tacos. I've also found the simpler, the better they taste, IMO. I basically make a slaw with lots of lemon juice (no dressing) & a bit of sweet onion as a topping.

Grilled fish tacos is one of my personal favorite things to make.

Grilled tilapia filets seasoned with salt, pepper, lime
Homemade pico (tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime, salt, pepper)
Avocado slices
Lime juice
Corn tortillas

That's it. I love it.

make a mayo chipotle sauce by mixing chipotle powder with mayo to taste. Or if you have a can of chipotle in adobo then use the adobo sauce in the mayo.

Thanks FB. Too much rum and Pimlico racing to think about a pico de gallo. Made the wife go to the store for avocados and lime. one of these days I'll learn how to take pics and post them like MeridianDog.

Mahi tacos are a regular occurrence for me and mine. Start by making your own taco seasoning (I usually do some extra cinnamon). I usually do whole grain/whole wheat taco shells, organic iceberg, red onion, homemade salsa, homemade guacamole, sharp cheddar, lime, cilantro, sour cream. Can't get enough.

I hope you caught the fish if not you're setting yourself up for a let down.
