What an arse. I hate this mentality some of these guys have that they are "Guaranteed" to be picked at a certain spot. He is the 2nd Jet to do this when it is not even the agents fault.

Surprising news from Milliner.
Stupid stupid.

What do you care? He is supposed to keep an agent he is not happy with? It is HIS agent, not your agent.

odds are the agent got the player to sign with him by promising something along those lines

Oh. You must have the agent's phone tapped.

Milliner, who was represented by Impact Sports, was taken by the Jets with the ninth overall pick, but the Daily News was told that Milliner hasn’t expressed unhappiness about his draft position during his search for new representation.

If he indeed signs with Sexton-Dye, it was probably planned. He was probably using a pre draft benefit of Impact Sports.

We don't know what his agents told him. They might have promised him a top 5 spot.

Don't know who promised what but it sounds like an irrational move. He went really high and he's playing in New York.
Furthermore he has to wait 5 days to hire a different agent in which time he might be subjected to a media onslaught. Doesn't help he plays in NY.

This really isn't a big deal. Of course, the media will make it a big deal, probably stating that firing your agent seems ungrateful and Dee probably doesn't believe in Jesus. It is ridiculous.
Agents are like managers, they are fungible.

I have a feeling this has very little to do with where he was drafted and more with just wanting to change agents. CB's don't go in the top 5 and anybody with a pulse should know that. PP7 barely cracked top 5.
