I don't know how I missed this. I believe Mendys record will be going down in the very near future as long as Spoto stays healthy. Go to 6 minutes in if you just want to see the lifts and don't want to hear Bell babbling.

Spoto 705

If you change the thread title to "Strange looking barrel chested man with alligator arms can bench press lots of weight" it would make more sense.

you mean raw bench or with a bench shirt.

hasnt scott done 1000 plus with a shirt as well as ryan kennelly.

best lifter i ever seen in person was garry frank. not to mention an awesome all around athlete

Did he lock out a single rep? dude went straight from the spot into the lift, no pause at the top, didn't touch his chest, and then never appeared to fully lock out his elbows.

yeah he has pretty short arms.

the heavy singles he was doing he touched the chest and locked out.

now the lighter weights he was repping out none touched nor did he lock any out

damn he did do that without a shirt and with plenty of strength to spare.

he was good for 725 for a one rep max.

oh i couldnt really tell if he had a shirt on or not.

must be a single ply. normally these huge bencher will wear those double denim plys making their arms fully extended like frankenstein

Didn't look like that guy was wearing a bench shirt. But I've seen a guy bench more than that IRL. When you're huge and have proper form, you only have to move the weight like a foot. Not that it's not impressive but it's not any kind of record
