Reading a article in my new garden and gun magazine about Asheville as a great east coast beer city. It sounds pretty awesome. Anyone visited there recently?
I'm really thinking of lookin into a family outdoor trip next summer in that area of the country. I will of course have to schedule some me time to explore the beer scene.

One of my best friends brother just opened a brewery there. Let me see if I can dig up the article.

My FIL lives there. I'd guess they're up to 5 or 6 breweries now. New Belgium is building a new brewery there. Really a cool town... great music scene... beautiful country. Highland Brewing has a really nice, family friendly tasting room with live music.

Absolutely, it's a great city with a number of great breweries and beer bars. I love making the drive a few hours west to enjoy it.
