Bourdain and David Simon vs Bravo taking $200,000 in BP $$ for Top Chef TV show

Apparently Bravo is getting paid $375,000 to film here, including $200,000 from BP.
Bourdain tweeted that they should give the 200K back to Louisiana.
Bravo calls out 'Treme' and it goes back and forth.

Ehhh, I'm not going to blame any business for taking advantage of any incentive they can get.
Plus, I'm never really big on the 'why don't they donate it' angle when talking to other people about their money.

seems more like a kickback than an incentive.

The money has to be used for tourism marketing. You can't just give it to anyone.
Also, I think its hilarious that Bourdain knew of precisely one charity in New Orleans who could use 200g. A charity which is incredibly already well-supported by some of the city's Top Toques and a daily revenue stream.
