What is everyone's thoughts on this place. This is the place I first learned to eat Crawfish when I was 3 years old when I went to visit my aunt and uncle who lived in Lafayette at the time. Have not been back there since about 04-05. I remember going there and the Crawfish being good. Is it still that way?

I remember going there back around the same time frame, and it was good. However, since then, I really haven't heard anything else about it. I think there are other places in the area such as Cajun Claws and Hawk's that have become the go-to places.

They put their seasoning on the crawfish after they boil them. Not my preference.

Not a fan. As someone noted above, the seasoning is put on the outside of the crawfish. I don't mind this IF the water they were boiled in was also seasoned. However, in the case of Gator Cove, the tails are bland as is the juice, which tells me plain, bland water/steam, then seasoning thrown on top.

I've never liked this place.
But if its a place you've been going to since you we're 3 you're going to like it. My first pizza was at Pizza Village the first week they opened when i was around 4 or 5. Lots of people hate that place but I love it.
