Maybe Brad Evans can handle it.

You guys are actually surprised? Even after what Klinsmann said?

LD is still having trouble getting back into form. Have you seen what he's done in MLS this season?

He'll most likely get on the Gold Cup roster to work his way back for Mexico in the fall.

good, more time for him to return to cambodia and lament the perils of being a professional athlete to young Phak, he's such a good listner.

Not at all. It's just more dick waving by Klinsmann.

He did it with Jozy, he did it with Clint, he did it with Bradley.

If you've ever worked with a *real* type A, you'd recognize Klinsmann's BS.

He better not be on the Gold Cup squad. No point in putting extra miles on Donovan right now. Keep him fresh for the qualifiers and let him work on his form with LAG.

I'm pretty sick of Landon and Jurgen to tell you the truth.

I don't mind Donovan taking his sabbatical. I don't mind him not being called up if he isn't in form. However, with his experience. I'd still take him out of form over some MLSers that will be called up.

Agree 100%

I think he needs some time this summer with the USMNT.

I've argued that I think Donovan is a whiner, not the best leader, etc. etc. However, Donovan has put a lot of time and effort into the USMNT. More than anyone ever, arguably. He should have some leeway with getting back into the USMNT. Time this summer would help improve him,and this team. IMO.

Wow! This thread is full of so much butthurt and fail. Donovan has been average at best, outside flashes of brilliance, since his return from his sabbatical. He blew off the National Team when we needed him, now he can wait a little longer before coming back. I actually like that Jurgy left him off.. how would you feel if you were a fringe USMNT player, busting your arse for club and in camps, and you get passed over for someone who hasn't been in the mix in months..

Some of yall overblow things, LD will be back, Klinsmann WANTS him and knows we NEED him, he's just sending a message with this, same w/ Jozy and Clint.. all those messages got through, and so will this one. Y'all make it sound like Jurgy just hates everyone on the team

I've been wanting to pose this question but I didn't want to start a new thread so here it goes: Boca has been getting serious PT lately and appears to be in pretty good form and is fit.. whats the odds he gets called back into camp? even if its for a backup role?
