I figure the OB would appreciate these. I just snapped these photos from the deck of my house.

How you can see that and not shoot one just astounds me.

Can't tell if those are deer or elk. If elk, you know if they see you watching them they will try and kill you and the rest of your family. If you will just give me your address I will come out and protect you and your family.

We get to see elk running through the neighborhood in the mornings. There's been a few occacions when I was cooking the wife breakfast and watching a herd of elk cross the field out my kitchen window. The golf course appreciates them far less than I do.

They're deer. I could see the white tails on them. The elk haven't made their way down just yet. They are very distinguishable when they do.

I've actually seen mountain lion tracks in the winter snow 10 feet from my bedroom window. We don't let the dogs out by themselves anymore.

I'm well aware of the seasons. Doesn't make that sight any less tempting.

Nice state - I have been there several times.

Shitty politics. I don't plan to return until recent antigun legislation is repealed.

Is your trees fenced off to keep the deer out?

Yes. The fences will come down soon. They have to be fenced off during winter.
