Exactly my point.
I don't need 4 lights on the damn thing, and they look odd with only two.

I have the last one you posted with a pair of KCs on it.

Looks good, IMHO.

I would get a Rigid mount and Rigid LEDs before either of them but just cannot stand a bull bar. The light bars just look much better IMO.

Man, that's funny you say that-I agree 100%.

They make a rigid LED that fills up that space below the grill perfectly.

They were a good bit and I read some poor reviews on them. That's why I didn't get them.

The KC HIDs were big bucks as well, though.

ETA: the Rigid warranty was weak sauce, too.

I want one for my F150 but the last time that I checked, it was Raptor only. Maybe now they have one, bout to head over and look.

I have only ever heard great things about them, minus the price. There are cheaper options but they are not Rigid quality.

Had them on my JK, and while I loved them, I hated paying for them. I used two lock nuts on those bastards.

Yeah, it would be hard together these off unless you showed up with a deep well and an extension.

Check the warranty b/c now I see it's lifetime?

I was reading some of the LEDs would burn out, etc.

It's been a good two years since I looked at them, but I liked how they looked. Much cleaner.

Some places I go, I need some bright lights.

I believe so.

I have no heard of this. Not saying that it doesn't happen, just not in my research.

We are starting to use trucks more and more at our camp and while headlights are great, more is always better.

Hammer, That was the other brand that I was thinking about. I liked their quality and price last time that I looked but forgot about them.
ETA: Hammer, thats not actually the company that I was thinking about. There is another LED company that makes good shite.

I wonder how those LEDs do for range compared to HIDs?

This is their 50" model. Very expensive but shows what they are capable of.

Their smallest bar, 6".

It's amazing no one has mentioned the gun you can take to the knife fight when someone flicks their bright lights at you...

I like em... Had one on my 2002 z71. It was lifted and looke good though. I don't always like when people put the bullnose and nothing else.

Thinking about some Rigids for my JK. Windshield/Hood mount. Saw a pair a friend had and liked them more after I seen them.

I don't they look bad, but most applications I've seen utilize the tow hook mounts which involves removing them. I'd rather be without a bull bar than be without hooks up front. So, I say nay.

With how high my KC's are mounted I would kill people if I flashed them at somebody.
I've done it before though when some penis headed bastard refuses to turn his brights off.

Back to the OP though, I still see zero reason to get a bull bar unless you just want your truck to "look cool" which it's very debatable if you're going to accomplish that.

Brush guards look better but are still going to smash up your truck if you hit anything.

IMO it's bumper replacement (ranch hand etc) or leave it stock.
