Lebron guarded Belinelli for most of the game.

Waste of time imo.

Put Norris Cole on him. Why waste LeBron's energy chasing a water bug. Nate will tire LeBron out if they put him on him all game.

I'm sure it will be something like he did against Derrick Rose a few years ago.

Just certain situations, not full time.

Nate is like 3 times smaller than Lebron.

I'm not sure that's even smart.

It will be situational, and I have a good feeling about it leading to some bad shots and turnovers

Pshhh, Lebron could probably stand 3-4 feet away from Mate and still swat anything he throws

Rose is a mediocre shooter from distance so its not really the same thing guarding him vs a guy like NateRob.

lol he was referring to LeBron mostly guarding him in late game situations. Not to the probability of effectiveness.

Also, Nate and Rose have roughly the same percentages in long twos. Nate is a better 3pt shooter though. Nate's been making nearly 65% of his long 2s in the playoffs though after shooting like 40-45% during the season. Sooner or later he's going to start slumping.

They should do this all the time.

If they play this lineup Nate would have to go to the bench.

PG - James
SG - Wade
SF - Battier
PF - Bosh
C - Haslem/Anderson

Who would Nate guard?

Battier?

All he does is stand at the 3 point line any way.

This is why we need Hinrich bad...I don't trust Teague with anything. Nate can't sit for long.

I'm trying to find a obviously hole with that lineup, and I really can't

Long two shooting doesnt matter in this case. The fact that NateRob is a legit threat to pop a three in your face at any moment makes LeBron trying to D him up silly and a waste of his talent.

Same thing happened to LeBron when he tried to check Terry in the Finals as well. He is not fast enough to take a small, quick guard who can drill 3s.

He had success against Rose b/c he was able to play further off of him due to his weak 3 point shooting.

Big difference in 6"4 PG and a 5"9 PG.
