I pretty much live my life at either Highland Coffees or Garden District Coffee. Got me to thinking if I'm missing out on any other good coffee shops in the area.

So what is your favorite one?

Highland. They know how to roast. And they have really nice toilet paper.

Highland, Garden District. Not enough space at Magpie, although their coffee is good and cheap.

Starbucks on Highland....It's a battle of Lexus vs Mercedes. My truck gets laughed at and I feel like an outcast.

Latte e Mielle. I go by at least every Sunday to have some pastries/gellato and coffee.

Magpie's made me feel like a dirty liberal. The crowd was not my cup of tea.

Love Latte e Miele. Beautiful decor and location.

Man, I'd never have thought he'd still be around.

Good for him.

Me too.

Have not yet been to Magpie, but I think their food sounds really good.

I just moved into the Garden District, and the coffee shop is walking distance so maybe I'll check it out.

Latte e Miele.

Their food menu is amazing as well, one of my favorite chefs in town.

Highland coffees is neglected, overcrowded and the coffee is not great. Nostalgia, the location and their croissants make it worth a visit.

Garden District ... memories of perks and the Granita make it worth the visit.

For my money the best espresso is made by Magpie. Feels like you are somewhere else other than BR.

PJ's is terrible and CC's in a pinch isn't bad.
