Anyone ever watch Stephen Fry in America?

Pretty good show. He drives through all 50 states and actually for a BBC show, doesn't make it look too bad.
He goes to Mardi Gras, then takes Airline Highway all the way to Chicago. Stopping in places like Angola, Natchez and St Louis.
Seemed to hate Miami though. Just interesting to see his takes on the country, and I'm a fan of Americana documentaries.
Links to all six episodes.
Episode 1 The New World
Episode 2 The Deep South (goes to Alabama/Auburn football game, Woodford Reserve distillery)
Episode 3 Mississippi (traces entire river)
Episode 4 Mountains and Plains
Episode 5 The True West
Episode 6 The Pacific
I liked his reaction to college football being crazier than the biggest Soccer games backs home (Iron Bowl).
I've only watched two, but he hits all 50 states and really points out seem neat facts.

I'll have to check it out. I love him as the narrator on LittleBigPlanet games.

Love them.
The Iron Bowl makes him tear up. It is pretty amazing.

I like how shocked he was that it was that crowded for a "regional match-up of amateur athletes"
Good shows.
Good shows.

I thought he went to the Iron Bowl?
:rimshot:
Also, is there a way of describing SEC football that is both more accurate and less appropriate than the way he described it?

Fry should have been at the LSU - FlA game in 2007. He would have cried from the pain in his ears.
