Like.

Seriously, even people who hate baseball should take note of what this kid is doing as a freshman at LSU. He's a special talent who we are extremely lucky to have.

Also, JaCoby Jones' SEC stats. JS

I really hope they take the series against South Alabama this weekend. Would love to have an easy 2-seed in our regional.

Gotta keep yourself from overheating until the playoffs. Don't want to go DUFFY and get banned too early over some trifling nonsense, yo.

What Breg is doing should and hopefully will open up the eyes of future early rounders to come get a degree while having a once n a lifetime experience and raising their PRO stock!!! y'all hear me boys, come join Breg put some more digits on the intimidator and start a dynasty of y'all's own baby!!!!!! Make the 90's look like the history it is.

I love how Ibarra has gotten overlooked by so many. The guy is having a stellar year! I think he has reached base in all but 2 games this year. At least I though they said that during the last game's telecast.

Hey what is Jacoby doing in the line up much less being ranked in RBIs? Shouldnt he be riding the bench?

DIG had a decent article on him.

LINK /

quote:

“Christian has been one of the real unsung heroes on our team,” says LSU coach Paul Mainieri. “All he does is help us win games, whether it’s with defense or with his bat. He doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves.”

Also got a kick out of this quote.

quote:

“When Javi went out to see him in junior college, he came back and told me that he could play defense but didn’t know how much he was going to hit because of this funky high leg kick he had,” he said. “After I saw him, I told Javi that you underestimated this kid because he had bat speed and stays back on the ball despite the leg kick.”

So not only does Javi suck as a hitting coach and 3rd base coach...but he also sucks at talent evaluation

Keep that grill fired up Javi!!
