bought it this weekend at walmart for $20 bucks. i haven't played the first 2 in many years and i don't think i finished the 2nd but i was close.

i like it alot so far and the cutscenes are a nice addition as compared to the old comic book type cutscenes. bullet time is pretty awesome too. i haven't gotten too far into the story yet. i'm sure it's a good one, but i kinda wish they would have done one in the city again instead of a completely different country.

I liked it until Max died about halfway through in a car wreck.

Didn't enjoy it as much as the older ones. Not sure why. Such a shame Max dies like that.

Brazil works fairly well as a setting.

There are several flashbacks in jersey, so it's not a total loss if you absolutely needed some of the game to be set in the states.

Life continues to shite all over max and his only methods of coping are booze, pills, and perfectly timed one-liners.

The funny thing about max is even with all the substance abuse, he is the ultimate super-cop.

Granted, nobody is left alive by the end and there is a shitload of collateral damage, but the guy gets it done.

Just don't be friends with him or else you'll wind up dead too. His track record for protecting friends and loved ones is abysmal

It was very meh to me. After about the 6th level of running through rooms and shooting guys with bullet time, I got bored. Never picked it up again.

Probably worth the $20 though.
