I have eaten both healthy and unhealthy and I will say if you want to eat healthy AND good it will generally cost you more

One reason, is expiration...things like fish and chicken and meats you can freeze will last a while

But fruits, vegetables, mushrooms all of the stuff you really want to make a good side dish or complete your meal, those all expire relatively quickly...so I find myself making more frequent trips to the grocery store
