im a healthy eater and I know its not all that expensive, but cutting that much off of your weekly grocery bill seems like a lot. Unless of course they were just buying a lot of unnecessary items.
Well, if you are buying 3 or 4 boxes of sodas a week , chips, cookies, and ice cream. It's not that hard to shave off 40 or 50 bucks pretty quick. Other stuff is just more vegetables and less meat. Honestly, she bought a lot of stuff that were just snacks because they were always hungry.
I told her not to get it and tried to build a menu where they would feel full after eating and not want to constantly snack...so they saved by buying less, but not really losing nutrition.
