Beaver Stadium was also disappointing. Not very good architecturally. LOUD as frick though. The show is a dump, and Michigan Stadium is boring. Its like a full grown version of ND's stadium.

I thought Neyland was loud, and isn't underground or overly spread out?

Seems like you don't like Notre Dame. Probably clouding your judgment. ND certainly had a rough patch for 15 years, but it seems they've emerged from those days.

I also see that you're an Alabama fan. Congrats on the win in January. So does that now make Alabama 1-6 all-time against ND? Bear Bryant was 0 for his life against ND. I really enjoyed seeing that.

Folks on the SEC Rant have argued that, is indeed, "bandwagoning."

Really? Seems to me they get skullfricked on the field every time dumbfricks decide to put them on the big stage.

No

And 6 years ago, Bama fans were ridiculed for living in the past. You probably dished out your fair share.

Not really. Its small, plain, and quiet. Everything people say about Michigan Stadium is true for ND, except Michigan Stadium is about 30K seats larger.

Now the history of both stadiums isn't overrated.

I looked it up. Bama is 2-6 against ND lifetime.

I never ridiculed Bama fans for living in the past, just as I won't do so to ND fans. Both programs have great histories, and with the right coach, both programs will be at the top.

ND hired some really bad coaches in succession, so like other programs that have done the same, they dipped. Clearly, Kelly is a lot better than those guys. I didn't think he was going to be an elite coach, but I'd be lying if I thought he'd have ND 12-1 in his 3rd year.

This.

I'm sure the Vatican and Sistine Chapel don't have hi-tech plasma screens adorning their walls.

If you can't appreciate the place because you can't appreciate the history of college football and what Notre Dame means - then I don't know what to tell you. More famous players have played in that stadium there than anywhere else.
