Melo takes what should be higher percentage shots

Obviously you don't watch him play because his game is the outside jumper. If anything Melo doesn't take enough high percentage shots inside the paint. Doesn't drive enough and lives by those 20 footers off the dribble.

On topic, I'm biased obviously but I don't see how you can take Curry over Melo. Melo when he plays the 4 creates matchup problems galore. That in itself should be the biggest factor here, not to mention Currys ankles as several posters have stated.

That's his problem. He would be ELITE if he would be more physical and get after it. He settles for shots that he shouldn't have to take.

Curry.

First attempt in the postseason, he makes it out of the first round.

Curry hands down. Great shooter but i would say already has a higher basketball iq and melo has many more years of experience. Also not a selfish player just knows his role as a scorer and offense as himself.

Of those two, Curry-- the 3 years in age advantage for Curry largely wash out the difference in injury history-- though it is noting that Carmelo is very durable.

Neither is a particularly great closer, and both have holes in their games- but Curry wins this close competition. I trust him at 30 to be a more complete player than Melo is at 33.

Yea Curry's glass ankles are the only thing that make this a debate in my mind.
