I actually managed to play for quite a while after around 11:30. There was a lot of lag on Ultros and I got 90000 a few times, but I was able to get back in easily each time.

do some quests, explore the world, kill bad guys, grind for loot, run dungeons?
Anything that sets it apart from other mmos, aside from what appears to me to be a deep and complex class\job system that allows you to really customize your char to be able to do a bunch of stuff. That looks neat.

I thought for PC it is only $30 then $12.99/month if you only want one character on one world...which is all you need in this game.
There will be PVP. Both small scale 1v1, 4v4, 8v8 coliseum fights, and large scale realm v realm fights. We don't have a lot of details on PVP yet. I think it will be implemented in patch 2.1 which will hit before the end of the year.
Other than that they've basically taken the most fun things about every other modern MMO, polished them and stuck them in a final fantasy world. What could be better?

Yeah. I hear ya. Dungeon crawls with 4 buddies who know what theyre doing are pretty fun.

I'm just trying to get through the story stuff right now. Only class I'm really working on is archer and that's slow going. I already have 4 maxed out.
