My main LS is having a discussion on it now. Not sure how this is going to play out since I really like the group and hope to stay with them. Issue is there are players from all over the world in that LS, so I don't know if they are just going to stay put.

I checked into my account for FFXIV (played the original release). Looks like I can't reactivate my account (for now). I'll probably just start over on whatever server everyone here choose.

how long did you play.. what level were you?

I only played a month or two. Was in the 20s on Warrior and in the teens on a few others. Not enough progress to really want to keep. I'd bet I'd be stuck on my original server as well.

So I'm thinking we will end up going to Hyperion.. currently in talks with a bunch of different people, but Hyperion seems to be the verdict. I will update everyone with more info as it comes.

So far away, all I can do is watch from the outside, and save money to build a rig in the begining of Aug.

I know that Square will be big on Sony's E3 conference, and I imagine that FF14 will make some type of showing.

I knew that, I must have over looked when you said you thought it was.
But like I said they have a ton of servers for phase 3, so I imagine a bunch will get in.

Did they give an actual beta release day for june yet or is that tomorrow with the emails?

It's this Friday, but like I posted earlier, it's not the open beta. That starts in phase 4, but no date for that yet. Hopefully you'll get in now.
