In Baton Rouge, my favorite frozen margarita -- and I've had them at every Mexican joint in town, including Superior -- is at Qdoba.

Far from the best I've had, but the best in Baton Rouge that I've had.

Reposado
Grand marnier
Agave Nectar
Fresh lime juice

I'm going to give this a try. The lime squeezer will get a workout this weekend..

Good day to drink Irish Single Malts while the amateurs crowd into the Mexican joints.

All the cool in the fricking world . . . right here . . . in this thread. Holy crap.

That said, I don't really give a shite about Cinco de Mayo.

BTW, the real amateur night is New Year's Eve.

I see no reason to use mixes. Just a 211 or 2111 ratio depending on your taste will make a perfect margarita. Those mixes are nithing but sugar and artificial garbage... I'm infusing some jalapeno in a bottle of tequila right now. Going to see how it tirns out

If its the first time you've used the nectar, start with a small portion first and adjust to your taste. A little of that stuff goes a long way.

I like tex mex and margs, so I'm down for cinco. If frozen, I'm a fan of the ninfarita. El gato negros rocks marg is pretty fine.
