People can't hate this much on a guy and root for him to succeed.

How is pointing out what he did as stupid, hating on a guy?

LSU was linked to Lyles.

Shepard was just one in the group.

Pointing out that his comments are unwise (to be kind) or foolhardy is fine. I have done so as well.

Going on and on about how much he sucks, can't play in the NFL, is a stupid person, has low character, etc...well, it seems to me like so much hate for so little.

Obviously you're just a hater who's defending Miles.

shep has already had in depth conversations with chip about his offense and he's going to be playing about 30 different positions.

Yep, funny thing..LSU is full of 4 and 5 star talent that failed to meet expectations in that dysfunctional offense we have watched the past few years. Few have lived up to expectations, most have not.

I didn't really follow the draft and didn't know where players were projected to go, but when I heard RS on 104.5 yesterday my first thought was how full of shite he sounded. Pretty pathetic actually. It almost sounded like he was trying to convince himself of what he was telling Mascona. He was a 5 star recruit who sucked arse in college... it's as simple as that. There is a reason he didn't have the ball in is hands more. If he failed to contribute at LSU, he isn't going magically put it together in the NFL... I don't care what offense he is going to. The sooner RS realizes this, the better. Either way, he'll be making a hell of a lot more money bouncing around NFL practice squads than I ever will working 50 hours a week.

What will the 30 for 30 be called?

I don't know, but I'm sure that they'll find a way to blame Les for it.

Which is a really pathetic measuring stick to criticize the program.

The program is in good shape. The offense has been totally dysfunctional.

shite, they've been doing it for several years, no reason for them to stop now. I honestly don't know how anyone could hate Shep, but there are a handful here that do. I mean every Shep thread, there they are bashing him for anything they can possibly find.
I agree I hope the kid does great things in the nfl.....

Yet only RS seems to draw the ire of people? I wonder why...

funny that shep was actually suspended for the LSU/Oregon game because of his big mouth.

You aren't that naive. JJ, J.Lee, every offensive lineman, Even RR were bashed for the lack of performance during their career. Hell, the only offensive players anyone has liked at all were Hill and Ridley.

1. This sounds like a whole bunch of butthurt to me. CC has a superbowl ring and an NFL resume that includes Drew Brees and Joe Flacco. 8 guys were just drafted, 2 in the first round why wouldn't you come here to play ball especially since we let them get away with everything short of murder so long as they produce on the field.
2. Its better to be a UDFA than be drafted in the later rounds of the draft because you have some control over where you go
3. Sounds to me like RS is setting himself up for failure. One would think he would have learned after the NCAA slapped his arse with a four game suspension because he couldnt keep his trap shut.
4. Kid needs to grow up before he becomes that guy working at a truck stop talking about awesome he could have been had coach put him in in the fourth quarter.

I'd pick A&M over Texas, if I were a Texas kid coming out. No doubt.

fricking this. good lord, what is wrong with you people? The kid was a great teammate, a leader, and a class act at LSU for four fricking years, and because he makes some mistakes and says some stupid shite because he clearly seems to have a hard time reconciling his high school potential with his nfl talent evaluations, a bunch of fricking losers take to the internet and crucify him as a selfish moron.

Our fanbase is fricking garbage. And this cite is practically a cesspool of groupthink for people with low self esteem.
