That's really not that bad. The dude being wheeled away from the marathon bombing was WAAAYYYYY more gruesome.

It's just bones and meat. The things I've seen in an OR trump that by 1000. My dogs foot looked like that when he got bit by a brown recluse.

Yea, that was jacked up. I think the emotions of the event played into that more so than the actual injury.

I don't know, man. That shite was gruesome no matter how you look at it. Dude's fricking legs were shredded.

Will muscle regrow over the bones? Or once lost it's gone?

Looks cool. That stuff doesn't bother me.

I've seen a guy's hand after a brown recluse bite. I don't see how it would ever be the same after that. Also, I've known a couple of people that came into contact with flesh eating bacterium. Those were both pretty nasty, too.

I'm actually quite squeamish. I had to turn away from the Jon Jones interview after his fight. I think the fact that they've cleaned away so much of the rotted flesh makes that snake pic look less disturbing.

Oh yea, the injury was/is horrific, but it's amped up emotionally because of the event. If one dude stepped on some random mine in Uganda or something, I dont think it would be as tragic. Not meant as racist. What I mean is, the horror of the event where 170 Americans were injured and 3 were killed including an 8yo boy, the emotion attaches itself to the injuries and make them seem worse.
