Green room or stay put if you start sliding down the board

I personally would be so excited not only at the prospect of win drafted period but at watching the crapshoot to determine my new home, I'd sit and have drinks at the table until at least the end of round 3

Easy to say until you're in that position.

If we're talking about the NFL green room, I don't really think they have an open bar for the draftees.

The "drinks" are probably pretty much limited to water.

I'm sure a top 5 would likely be informed and flown into town beforehand.

If I was a quarterback in a year where many people said that this wasn't a good year for quarterbacks, I wouldn't have shown up.

Geno Smith is a moron who believed his own hype. The fact that I hear that he expected to be the #1 overall pick says a lot.

I'm thinking Aaron Rodgers/Brady Quinn

Oh how embarrassing...send him to the green room. I'd stay put and enjoy myself

Yeah but Smith was REALLY pissed by the time EJ Manuel got picked.

I'd stay and just have fun too. I mean, you're doing something very few poeple ever do. Only ~250 college players will be drafted. Enjoy that you were invited.

Aaron Rodgers did it great. He took his lumps and waited til he got picked. I don't remember him getting pissy and firing his agent. And there was really no indication that he would fall down in the first round.

Geno Smith truly thought he was the next Robert Griffin and not the next Colt McCoy.

FWIW, Rodgers wasn't remotely having fun lol.

He came into the night thinking he'd be top 5 and probably $25+million guaranteed if not more, to the #23 pick and a hell of a lot less money, plus being on national television all that time knowing pick after pick after pick of players you think you're better than are getting drafted and getting the money you thought you'd get because you thought you were better than those guys.

That can't possibly be fun. I don't even see how you could enjoy that.
