My reply:
Ms. Dunbar,
Thankfully, we don't have to worry about "negatives in your book" becoming law just because you state it.
"Who wants it to be legally easier for more people on the streets to carry their own guns for a longer period of time?" I do. Myself, as well as most of the people I personally know.
"Are we planning to return to a post-apocalyptic military state soon?" Counter question. Do you think it's okay for the federal government to regulate when and where we can practice our rights as outlined in the Constitution of the United States?
"We don’t need this. If anything, we need tighter restrictions on who’s allowed to buy and keep guns." Please refer to the previous statement.
"Those who oppose restrictions might think they would work against law-abiding citizens being able to protect their families, but I disagree." The same Constitution entitles you to do just that.
Please at least backup your opinions with facts in your future endeavors.

Pretty much every reveille opinion article is a shitty troll. Ever.

Can someone provide me the statistic of percentage of gun crimes being CCL holders?

I thought messican was carrying in the front?

Wow impressive. Without adding up all the gun crimes, it's safe to say CcL holders account for less than 1% of total gun crimes?

Good link but they should also include the ratio of CC offenders to total number of CCers. Then compare that rate to the non CC offenders in relation to all non CCers

Because one could argue that offenders in general represent less than 1 percent of the entire population.

Megan Dunbar is a 19-year-old [strikethrough] English junior [/strikethrough] airhead from Greenville, S.C.

I have always considered "Mexican Carry" to be carried up front, in a waistband, with no holster.
Use it. Ditch it. No evidence of a holster.
I am not overly fond of the "small of the back" carry.
Not as easy to access.
Could damage your spine if you were to go on your back in a fight or accident or whatnot.

So she just got a picture of some random black guy with a pistol just sitting in his pants while his finger is in the trigger? Smart
Oh yeah, IWNHI. That speaks volumes because I will bang anything that doesn't waddle

Wow.
Seems that she doesn't know much about the subject of her opinion.
It sure does seem to me that way too many gun control advocates don't know shite from Shinola when it comes to firearms and the laws that currently pertain to them.

I think so. But at least in my definition, it's slapping a handgun in your waistline without a holster, leaving the trigger exposed.
It's very idiotic and an accident (hole in the arse, one fewer testicle) waiting to happen.

Drew Orleans response has been submitted.

It was written by a 19 yr old female, it was terribly written, facitious, overly wordy and just outright ignorant. There is just no quality control at the Reveille anymore.
This quote tells me that a tops scholarship and a college education has been wasted.
