Buddy Holly is arguably the greatest rock n roller ever. I love his stuff with an undying passion. I like Roy, but everyone takes a back seat to Buddy in my eyes.

I'd go with Roy. Love Buddy Holly, but hard to choose him with the little time we had with him. Roy wrote great music up til his death.

Buddy Holly was fricking awesome, but I didn't listen to enough of his music, so I'm not going to answer this question right now. Roy was awesome too.
