Andrei Lintz was a big name over a year ago with all the great plays he was making during Spring practice. He continued his dominance during Fall Camp and everyone had high expectations for the senior. Lintz originally didn’t believe he’d have much of a chance due to the Air Raid not using their tight ends, except Leach loved him as an inside wide receiver. Things started to turn the corner for him until they reached the regular season where he only had just two receptions for 14 yards. This was a big disappointing for Lintz and WSU fans. Unfortunately, he was battling a knee injury throughout the campaign and didn’t record any stats in the final 10 games of the season. A sign of good news, is that the Saints are bringing him in for a visit to see what he can do. This comes as a surprise due to his lack of production, but the Saints are known for having WSU players on their roster. For example, Jed Collins, Chris Ivory, and the great Steve Gleason.
