Tebow or J-Russell: Who makes a squad?

Who do you think has the better chance of making an NFL roster next year?
After seeing how much weight Jamarcus has lost, I'd put my money on him.

I don't know but I'd take Russell 10 times out of 10.

Russell. Tebow is poison. Going o the jets combined with tebow mania ruined any chance he had of gettin another shot or trying to make it at a different position
At least ESPN will hire him

Saint Tebow leads Jacksonville to third place in the AFC South

I think they both won the same amount of games as a starter, although Jamarcus lost a lot more games a starter.
When Jamarcus played well (which was few and far between) his athletic ability was on display and he was helping the Raiders win games (All seven that he did). The teams Tebow faced managed to find ways to lose those games more then Tebow was guiding the Broncos to victory.

I like the guy, but I just felt that you could have put a few other subpar guys in the same situation (Colt McCoy/Matt Moor/Etc) and got the same results. The defense won those games for him.

I think if Tebow would agree to switch positions, he'd already be on a team.

Agreed.
Jamarcus stands a sort-of-OK chance of making some minicamp while rosters are still at 90 players just as a flyer and Tebow could have had the same deal.
The only difference is that a team isn't worried about JamarcusMania coming to town with the player.

One of the best quotes I heard about Tebow from a Broncos fan was
"I trust him to date my daughter, I just don't trust him enough to quarterback my football team"

Timmay! Purple drank hasn't played football in, what, 3 years? An ESPN documentary ain't gonna fix that.

Yes, but JaMarcus is capable of throwing a football. Jesus won't all of a sudden bestow magical throwing powers upon Tebow.
