At this point, I'd think it'd be solid. I expect him to go beast mode this year. I also don't think the Saints will be picking this high so he may not be there if he has that type of year. Way too early to even speculate at this point, but...

wouldn't he be a better fit for a 4-3? He's bigger than bunkley i guess but he's no massive NT for sure.

Probably but he's such a freak athletically that he can play end in a 3-4. Move to the middle in nickle/dime.

1. Looks like an awful draft class next year

2. Anthony Johnson? Pass. Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson showed us what happens to stud LSU linemen when you force them in to a 3-4. Do not want.

3. I doubt the Saints are pickign 15 again next year

Except I think he will be WAY better than Jackson. If our defense is absolutely terrible again and our offense sputters, at least we have a shot at Clowney

Could be. I'm just making the point of fitting a square peg in a round hole ala Dorsey and Jackson. Horrible fits in a 3-4

Right. I get that, but I think this guy could fit in a 3-4 at dt in certain systems or at de. He's 6'4 and about 305 lbs.
