Since when does the law allow you to hit someone for being offended and provoked???

Again, we all grow by learning restraint. When to hit and when not to hit is learned early on.

White people do not get the same leaway if we are called honkey.

This is ridiculous.

Im not saying Hill is a bad person, just that he partook in bad actions. Why you people think defending him is defending his behavior is beyond me.

Just like with your children who make mistakes, you continue to love them, but do no support their bad decision. He should have to pay for what he did, and Im sure both he and his family are disappointed in him.

I hope this clears up quickly, and he learns a valuable lesson in the long run. I certainly hope he doesnt surround himself with people like you who will make excuses for any way he acts based on his talent. That will only warp his reality and make his life long and miserable

I'm not defending it I'm just saying he's not a Thug for making a poor choice. I'm also saying there is several fights every Friday and Saturday night near LSU b/c that's reality. There's no defense for you driving 50 in a 35 the other day but you were going with the flow of traffic so I'm gonna say please dont shoot the guy for it.

The law should allow for frat bar bullies to be hit unprovoked

You notice how honkey shows up on this site and the N word doesn't?

he should have been confronted, and again, the guy may have had it coming, but still it does not excuse his actions.

Most of rational society, including the law, is on my side. Ranters who used to run the 40 in 4.3, and internet tough guys, think its cool to hit someone from behind based on their douchey character, and their sensitive feelings towards words

Seriously have you made one valid point in this conversation? If so most of us missed it. I'll keep wishing.

No one is saying it excuses his actions, it just doesn't warrant the level of punishment that many on here are suggesting.

haha, not at all Earthworm. You have quite the issue with educational responses and logic. Black people love me, as does everyone else IRL

He was called the "N" word and that's pretty offensive and provocative.

How close were you standing when he said this?

Why with the behind shite again??? if he looks the guy in the eye are you defending Hill? damn

no one thinks it's cool but we're just not willing to condemn the guy for it is all. We accept that we would have done something similar in the same situation and might have been wrong for it but it's just how life is.

Dude please tell us what exactly your issue with Hill is. Forget what we think happened just lay out where he's done something that sets him apart from most of us.

Yeah I'm sure black people love when you tell them fighting someone is acting like an n word. Or that being called a honkey is equivalent to being called a n word. Or that racial slurs don't exist in 2013.
