I would think he was probably already on some sort of probation for the whole Redemptrist cover-up issue.

he had a parole officer from what i understand.

Posted by Mattwells90 What exactly is he suspended from during summer? Working out? I don't get these summer time suspensions.

Simply a PR move by Miles and admins so everyone knows they are taking this seriously.

In actuality, the suspension means nothing

He has the playbook in his room. He can study it and continue to workout in at the rec. I really don't see it doing much of anything other then putting him behind possibly 2 games in the season where he gets limited carries.

Still, he won't be out on the practice field and wil have to workout by himself, which is never easy

But there is only one school in the country that has lost their starting quarterback, returning Heisman finalist, and future high NFL draft pick running back.

We only lost 1 of these guys.

Probation for a sex crime is very serious business. Hill was not on probation for fighting or drinking but for a sexual battery on a 14 year old. Supervised probation for two years means avoiding the slightest infraction. Hill would have been in trouble if he had witnessed a fight at a bar. To be arrested and charged my require a re-instatement of the original charge or at least the execution of the orininal 6 month prison sentence. He should have known better. Probabation means staying home on Friday and saturday nite.

I realize this question bothers you, but it is a legitimate one to ask when such events occur on a regular basis now.

Then ask it about other programs too......throughout college football history.

Such a cop out excuse using "The coach doesn't have control." Give me a break. Now, if they started acting like the 80's Miami's teams, then I'd have an issue.

Nowhere close.

Did anyone really not expect this? Indefinitely suspended rarely means forever. Things will cool down, he will have to meet some BS goals then be back at practice probably by mid July.

It won't be easy, but it's the road he chose. It'll probably be lifted by the time fall camp rolls around.

I say either kick him off or sweep it under the rug

Why?

So he misses summer conditioning which most players hate anyway. Not much of a punishment.

I can assure you that Moffit will have some extra special conditioning planned for Hill to do by himself

Great point. How did UF's 2010 and 2011 season go after having lost Cammy and Janoris?
