By your criterion (winning games) he was awesome.
In fact, he was Tebow before Tebow got in the league. Their first seasons as starters are eerily similar.

I would take him over Kevin kolb in buffalo. At least would make bills relevant. Bills have a great running o line. Only one receiver in stevie who has proved he can catch inaccuracte qbs. With kolb its gonna be the drop back and wait wait wait wait sack year.
