YAY! The Penguins beat the worst team in the playoffs

Pens should have won this one 8-0. They'll have to do the rest of the series without Letang - elbow was worse than what got Hagelin suspended last year.

You're an idiot.

Letang won't even get a call from the league take that shite elsewhere.

Crosby does it again.

I would say I can't believe the refs called a penalty that soft in the playoffs. In OT no less. but then I realized it was the Penguins and I honestly do believe it. It was a call so soft NBC actually criticized it, and they are bigger Penguins homers than the Pittsburgh local broadcast.

Penguins power play is awesome, but they got beat 5-on-5 today. Isles were the better team. Penguins got a gift.

Disagree, rough start but we outplayed them the rest of the way.

Spotted them 2 goals and still led at the end of the same period.

Morrows gift was the biggest gift of the game to even let them back in it shorthanded.

Time to get some drinks, this ones to you Sidney.

They blew their chance to get 1 in Game 1.

Isles won the possession battle, they had more shots, and the Pens scored 3 of their 5 goals in the power play. Two of the penalties went "against the run of play" as the Isles committed a penalty after a long time in the Pens zone. The Penguins had 3... count 'em, THREE shots in the 3rd period.

The Isles won this game everywhere but the scoreboard, and that's almost solely due to the fact that the Penguins power play was insanely good. Penguins won the special teams war, which allowed them to lose the game at even strength. It was fitting they won on the power play, it was the thing which kept them in it all game long.

I disagree, outside of the first 10 minutes of the first period it was the Penguins game to lose, and they almost did, but recovered.

Isles got a lucky turnover shorthanded to get back in it or it's likely 5-2 final.

The Isles went 0-4 on the PP as the Pens locked them down with a great PK and won the game because of it.

Not going anywhere in the postseason if your powerplay is non existent.

Oh, and you probably shouldn't let Crosby do whatever he wants either.
