How's studying going for everyone?

Does anyone have any L2 practice exams?

Thanks in advance and good luck to all.

shite I forgot to get THF some L3 exams. I'll see if I have some L2's. I may just have the Kaplan practice test books.

Going slowly is right. For L1, I read about 50% of the material, then just did about 50 practice exams which allowed everything, both read and unread, to stick. This time, I've read nearly all the material, which I think (hope) means I won't need to do as many practice exams. But I sure could use some if you come across any.

In any event, I wish you all the best.

In review mode, but experiencing serious burnout. If this wasn't the final level, I don't think I would be making it.

I do well on all of the questions when I can figure out what they are asking for. 20% of the time, I don't even start to comprehend what the desired response format is.

I took the Level One exam in 2003, bombed same. Ok, my Momma would have reminded me that I did pass the Ethics section... Good boy.

I can honestly say that I read every word of the material and did all the assigned questions but it wasn't enough. I now believe that the exam prep courses offered immediately prior to the exams are required as well. Especially if you didn't major in finance / accounting in school.

Serious question: Are there any effective on-line programs offered for CFA prep?

I'm using the Schweser books and online resources for L1 and they've been solid. Comes with 2 practice tests and a database of about 4000 practice questions. I got it as part of a class I registered for and I think it was about $1600 all in.

Thanks Chris. Is the course you registered for through Schweser or is it separate?

The course was through Schweser and Boston Security Analyst Society. I know they have it in NYC too, not sure where else. I honestly haven't gotten much from the class itself, but the materials have been useful.

Ok, thanks. I see your program here. Three hours lecture every Tuesday evening from Jan. 15 to April 30.

I'll start looking around to see if something like this is offered close to where I live or on-line. Thanks again and good luck on the exam.

Haha, I'm scared of the OT. No way I'd take your info there.

This is good stuff. Thanks again.
