Hall & Oates or The Black Keys

I think it would be cool to see Hall & Oates. On the other hand, I don't really follow The Black Keys but I have heard several people rave about their live show.

I could see both but I normally don't bother with trying to fight the crowds from stage to stage by that time of day.

I have the same problem. I have never seen Hall & Oates and only know their hit songs but hear they put on a good show. I've seen the Black Keys 9 times since 2006. They always bring it. Tough choice.

I'm showing up early and setting up for meter men - black keys - trombone shorty

Think dr John makes an appearance with the keys?

I wouldn't think so. I understand that the Black Keys are one of the most popular bands going right now but I wouldn't expect it be any more crowded than people like Billy Joel yesterday, Bon Jovi, Springsteen....

My wife and I show up when the gates open. I miss out on a lot of stuff but I enjoy just setting up camp on one stage and pretty much just hanging out there. So it is either Gentilly or Acura that day. It is just a tough decision.

I'm leaning more towards Acura because I want to see Trombone Shorty and Meter Men...I also like the little latin band that's opening Acura that day, Otra.

It's tough for me to go to Jazz Fest and not see my girl Irma Thomas, who is playing Gentilly and I really would like to see Hall & Oates. Choices, choices, choices.

The combo of keys and shorty will be formidable but generally I'd say still manageable with regard to crowd

Hall and Oates for sure. The black keys are boring.

I never set up shop at a stage. But I'm making an exception on Sunday at Acura. Brassaholics- Meter Men- Black Keys- Shorty and Orleans Ave.
