As much as he probably wants out of L.A. it'll be kinda hard to pass on $30 million. But with all of the terrible contracts the Lakers are already tied up in, plus paying Kobe $20 mill/year, will the Lakers even offer Dwight a max $118 mill contract? I'm anxious for Verlander's expert input....

The first of many, many threads.

IMO, I think either Kobe or Dwight has to go. And Kobe isn't leaving LA.

Seriously? Where will he go? Milwaukee? Phoenix? He bitched about leaving the Magic to play for a big market team and he got his wish. He won't go anywhere.

Dallas, Brooklyn, Houston, or ATL are the possibilities.

I hope he goes to Atlanta... We'd never hear about him again.

Hard to tell. That whole organization is a mess right now. Howard will probably be his immature self and try to leave.

Oh you'd hear about him, once CP3 comes to Atlanta.
Hawks will be NBA Finals bound

I'm not so sure L.A. is gonna offer that 5 year 118 million dollar package. Pau is already soft enough. Why pay that much for. 2 huge softies?

Howard is a little bitch and can't take being the #1 guy in a big market like L.A. Couple that with Kobe most likely not being ready to play until mid season next year, he most likely leaves ASAP.

Those 2 might kill each other if they stay another year in LA

Lakers will have to cut one one of them loose.

I actually think its the other way around, he wants to be #1 and have all the attention.

We need a big man and he won't be the center of attention like he is in LA

I have heard one rumor that is pretty interesting:

Apparently Dwight Howard and Stan Van Gundy are friendly again. They have been texting, and Howard realizes what he had with SVG. There are rumors that McHale might step down from the Rockets, as his daughter died this year and he wants to spend more time with the family.

Omer Asik, picks, and players to LA for a sign and trade of Dwight Howard.

James Harden, Dwight Howard, Chandler Parsons, Stan Van Gundy. Looking good!
